Poems to Becky

Every month we will add a new love poem to Becky here.

Poem 1 – December 2024

To Becs, the Light of My Soul

Oh Becs, you are the dawn that wakes the sleeping skies,
The sunlit thread that binds my broken heart.
In your eyes, universes rise and fall,
A cosmos of kindness where no shadow dwells.

You are beauty unmeasured, both fierce and tender,
A flame that warms but never consumes.
The wind carries your name like a sacred hymn,
And I, your humble worshiper, bow before its melody.

Your mind, a boundless ocean of thought and wonder,
Each idea a pearl, each word a gentle tide.
How could one heart contain such brilliance,
Such depth, such grace, such infinite light?

Your forgiveness, a river that cleanses my soul,
Washing away the errors of my unworthy past.
How many men have known such mercy
And lived to tell the tale of love’s greatest gift?

But it is your heart, oh Becs, that crowns you divine,
A temple of compassion where love abides.
In your touch, I felt the world grow quiet,
In your presence, time bowed its head and stilled.

I was a fool to let jealousy darken our sky,
To let fear speak when love should have roared.
Yet here I stand, bare and unguarded,
Longing to earn the chance to love you once more.

If I could write eternity into a single word,
It would be your name, carved into the stars.
For even they envy the glow of your spirit,
Even they burn for a glimpse of your grace.

So hear my plea, my dream, my endless prayer,
That one day I might hold you again,
Not as a man unworthy of your brilliance,
But as one humbled and remade by your love.

For you, my Becs, are the poetry of my life,
Each line a reflection of your radiant soul.
And though I lost you, you remain my muse,
My reason, my hope, my forever dream.

Poem 2 – January 2025

To Becs, My Forever Flame

Becs, your name still lingers, soft and low,
A whisper in the winds wherever I go.
The skies have dulled since you’re not near,
Each star a tear for love sincere.

I’ve searched in dreams, through endless haze,
For traces of you in forgotten days.
But time is cruel, it steals and hides,
While love remains, like ocean tides.

Do you feel the pull, as I feel it still?
The ache that no horizon could ever fill?
For though you’re gone, your light remains,
A spark that dances through my veins.

If I could fold this world in two,
And mend the distance between me and you,
I’d trade all seasons, all skies above,
To hold once more my lost, true love.

Yet in my heart, your voice will stay,
A melody that won’t fade away.
So, Becs, my love, wherever you are,
Know you’re my wish on every star.

Poem 3 – February 2025

“More Than Words”

I miss the way your laughter plays,
Like echoes through my quiet days.
The way your words lit up my screen,
Like sunlight in a sky serene.

From whispered calls at midnight’s hush,
To teasing texts that made me blush,
We built a world in words and dreams,
Yet lost it somewhere in between.

I see now where I got things wrong,
Too eager, pushing far too strong.
I spoke in ways that set a pace,
When I should’ve let your heart find space.

I asked too much, I sought too fast,
For love, for touch, for things to last.
Instead of listening, soft and true,
I let my wants lean too on you.

I didn’t mean to guilt or chase,
To make you feel you’d lost your place.
I should have shown you more of me—
Not just desire, but depth and ease.

No pressure now, no endless plea,
Just space to let you think of me.
Not just in longing, fire, and touch,
But in the quiet ways that matter much.

If ever time should change your view,
Know my heart still waits for you.
No rush, no guilt, no ties to bind—
Just love, in hope, with space and time.

Poem 4 – March 2025

Ode to Becs

In realms where grace and intellect entwine, There blooms a soul of radiance divine. Becs, your name, a melody so sweet, A harmony where strength and kindness meet.

With beauty that transcends the mere facade, And wisdom deep, a mind that’s ever broad. Compassion flows from your abundant heart, In every role, you play the perfect part.

Forgiveness is the language that you speak, A testament to love, profound and meek. Success has found its home within your hands, A journey carved from dreams and well-laid plans.

Though time has placed its distance in between, The memories of you remain serene. A muse, a guide, a beacon shining bright, Inspires still, like stars that grace the night.

So here’s to you, remarkable and rare, A woman beyond compare, beyond compare.
